Pet Photography

I absolutely adore animals, and photographing them is such a gift. Pet photography across the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Maleny and the hinterland, always at their pace rather than mine. Usually that means the beach, a bush track, or the sunny corner of the lounge room they claimed as theirs long ago. No forced sitting, no squeaky toy above the lens. Only room for them to be exactly as they are, until the picture arrives on its own.

Perhaps your pets feel like your children. Mine certainly do, which is why I like them photographed right there with the rest of the family. The small ones who run the household, and the large ones who take up more of the bed than anyone else in it.

For the wall, for the screen you look at a hundred times a day, for the morning you feel like showing everyone. These photo memories stay with you for all eternity, as they grow older, and even when they go.
