Music was the first thing I ever pointed a camera at. Press shots and album artwork, live sets and music videos, sound healers with their bowls at first light. Musicians in Ibiza, in Bali, and here on the Sunshine Coast, photographed the way the music actually feels rather than the way a press shot usually looks.
Whether you play to a room of five hundred or to one woman lying on a mat with her eyes closed, it is the same work. Watch, wait, and catch the moment you stop performing and start playing.
